We are committed to Youth Development and nurturing the potential of children by helping them discover who they are and what they can achieve. The Los Cerritos YMCA offers a Before and After School Academic Enrichment child care program that provides the children of our surrounding communities with a safe and fun environment where they can learn, grow & thrive. Servicing kindergarten (traditional) through 6th grade, our program is fully licensed by the State of California and offered in partnership with local area school districts.We are currently servicing schools in the district of ABC, Bellflower, and Paramount.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our curriculum includes homework assistance, reading, STEM, arts and crafts projects, outdoor play and specialized activities which are planned & coordinated by our staff.

In addition, participants are provided with a nutritious breakfast in the morning and hearty snack in the afternoon. As part of our Healthy Living initiative, our Food Program proudly meets the Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) Standards to help build lifelong habits in youth that create healthy futures.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Families are able to apply for our Financial Assistance Program.

We offer a 10% discount off the second child!

Before School Care: 6:30am - School Starts

After School Care: School Dismissal - 6:00pm
