Pickleball, a sport created for all ages and skill levels, is one of the fastest-growing in the country. Many members love playing the paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis.

PICKLEBALL

Pickleball players use special paddles and a wiffle ball, and games take place on tennis courts with specific pickleball lines. Nets and court sizes are smaller than their tennis counterparts, and the most common game is doubles, although singles is also an option. It's a sport created for all ages and skill levels and one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

Pickleball is available at the Lakewood Family YMCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 am to 2 pm, Fridays from 11 am to 2 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 2 pm. Members must bring their own rackets. Masks must be worn. No reservations are required.
