Program Details

  • Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Program Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Traditional Camp Weekly Rate: $275/Week
  • Specialty Camp Weekly Rate: $350/Week
  • Breakfast and Lunch Provided
  • Accepted Third-Party Agencies: Children's Home Society (CHS), Crystal Stairs, and DCFS.

Registration Information

  • All registration must be completed online! Please click the link HERE to register.
  • CampDoc child profile must be completed at 100% to begin Day Camp!
  • All payments will be automatically deducted on Wednesdays.
  • Weekly registration will close at 12 p.m. every Friday.
  • A Deposit of $25 is required and applied to your last week of camp.
  • If you want to cancel your weekly enrollment, please do so on Wednesdays but no later than Friday by 12 p.m.
  • Registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage everyone to register as soon as March 18th!
  • We accept Third-Party Agencies such as Children's Home Society, Crystal Stairs, DCFS, and Pathways.

Financial assistance for our Day Camp programs is available to those who qualify. Applications are open for pick-up at our branch office and can be downloaded online. The Los Cerritos YMCA requires proof of household income with all applications and has the right to modify assistance depending on funding availability. In addition, please be sure to get your application in early, as it may take up to two weeks to process. Financial Aid applications must be submitted in person to our front desk or emailed to Michele Janssen at Also, we cannot apply for financial assistance for a past registration. The Los Cerritos YMCA requires all third-party participants to have a CURRENT certificate that establishes the Los Cerritos YMCA as their desired childcare provider. If you are approved through a third-party agency, that does not mean you will automatically be enrolled in the programs. You must contact our office at 562.925.1292 to confirm availability and start date. Also, all paperwork must be turned in before starting our programs. All certifications MUST get sent to our main office By the provider, OR your specialist may contact our office for approval. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY FROM THE PARENT.
