Barracuda Swim Team

The Y is the starting point for many youths to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they will carry with them throughout their lives. Our swim team embraces the core values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Furthermore, the team seeks to provide opportunities for social and emotional development, a physical and recreational outlet, and an atmosphere of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun for all. Our dedicated and experienced coaches will provide each swimmer with the maximum opportunity for development.

Monthly Swim Team Options:

Beginner Swim Team

Fee: Members: $135 - Non-Members: $190 | Practice: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm - 6:30pm

Competitive Swim Team

Fee: Members: $200 - Non-Members: $275 | Practice: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm - 6:30pm

• Competition:
  The team competes in the Southern California YMCA League as well as USA Swimming in the Metro division.  League registration is required and is additional fees.

Requirements:

• Swimmers must pass Stage 6 group lessons or pass assessment.
• Swimmers must tryout before registering for swim team. Tryouts are available Tuesday and Thursday at 5 pm! Please contact Julia or Sam to schedule.

6-17 years
