The YMCA of Greater Long Beach Early Childhood Education holds a partnership with California State University, Long Beach and Cal State University, Dominguez Hills. Our 6 preschools provide internship opportunities for fall, winter, spring, and summer semester.
In addition to the college level internship opportunities, we also accept high school volunteers looking to fulfill their required volunteer hours or simply wanting to make a difference in their community.
College and high school students are required to get cleared prior to beginning their hours at their assigned preschool.
The requirements are listed below. Please complete the interest form if you would like to set up an orientation. For other questions, please email Mariela De La Mora.
