2026 Youth Institute Film Showcase

Join the YMCA of Greater Long Beach as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Long Beach Youth Institute Graduation & Film Showcase on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Scottish Rite Event Center (855 Elm Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90813).

This special event honors the achievements of students from our two Long Beach Youth Institute program sites:

• North Stars Youth Institute @ Best Buy Teen Tech Center @ Carmelitos
  10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Long Beach Youth Institute @ Spark of Midtown
  1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Guests will enjoy inspiring student film presentations, celebrate the graduation of this year's Youth Institute participants, and recognize Youth Institute alumni who are receiving college scholarships as they pursue their post-secondary education.

Come celebrate 25 years of empowering youth through education, leadership, and opportunity.
