Splash Week
Keep your child safe in and around water! The Los Altos Family YMCA is partnering with local schools to offer 4 free swim lessons during Spring Break. Our Splash Week program teaches children essential water safety skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury-related death for children ages 4 and under, and the second leading cause for children ages 5 to 14 in the United States. Through this program, we can help reduce the risk of drowning by teaching children the skills they need to feel confident in and around water.
