Mini Chefs Specialty Camp - Week 2

Give your young chef a summer filled with flavor, fun, and hands-on creativity! Our “Mini Chefs” specialty camp invites 3rd graders into an exciting week of cooking, exploring fresh ingredients, and building confidence in the kitchen.

Robotics - Week 4

RoboExplorers Specialty Camp invites young innovators to dive into the exciting world of robotics through hands-on building, teamwork, and imaginative problem-solving. Designed especially for 3rd graders, this camp helps kids explore how robots work while strengthening creativity, confidence, and STEM skills.

iMovie - Week 6

Lights, camera… imagination! Young Filmmakers iMovie Specialty Camp gives 3rd graders the chance to step behind the scenes and discover the magic of storytelling through video. Throughout the week, campers transform their ideas into real mini-movies—learning to script, film, edit, and add fun effects using iMovie on kid-friendly devices.

Program Details

  • Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Traditional Camp Weekly Rate: $310/Week
  • Breakfast and Afternoon Snack is Provided

Registration Information

  • All registration must be completed online! Please click the link HERE to register.
  • A Deposit of $25 is required and applied to your last week of camp.
  • CampDoc child profile must be completed at 100% to begin Day Camp!
  • All payments will be automatically deducted on Wednesdays before the week of care.
  • If you want to cancel your weekly enrollment, please do so on Wednesdays before the week of care.
  • We accept Third-Party Agencies such as Children's Home Society, Crystal Stairs, DCFS, and Pathways.

The Los Cerritos YMCA requires all third-party participants to have a CURRENT certificate that establishes the Los Cerritos YMCA as their desired childcare provider. If you are approved through a third-party agency, that does not mean you will automatically be enrolled in the programs. You must contact our office at 562.925.1292 to confirm availability and start date. Also, all paperwork must be turned in before starting our programs. All certifications MUST get sent to our main office By the provider, OR your specialist may contact our office for approval. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY FROM THE PARENT.
