At the Y, we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. By providing licensed before and after school care, the Los Altos Family YMCA helps children learn, grow and develop social skills in a safe nurturing environment.
Our program curriculum includes homework assistance, reading, arts and crafts projects, art appreciation, outdoor play, and specialty activates based on the theme of that particular month. All after school programs include a nutritious snack provided by the Y. |
The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a community based organization the Y is available to everyone. Financial assistance is offered to individuals and families who cannot afford to pay for the full amount of the program. Financial assistance has a sliding scale fee structure. The application for financial aid can be downloaded here and turned into the member service desk!
