Youth Basketball League
The YMCA of Greater Long Beach is excited to launch our first-ever Youth Basketball League, bringing together young athletes from across our branches for a season of fun, skill-building, and friendly competition. This league is designed to help players develop fundamentals, build confidence, and learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive environment.
Open to a variety of age divisions, the league welcomes all levels of players. Participants will enjoy organized games, consistent coaching, and the opportunity to grow alongside peers from Lakewood, Los Altos, Fairfield, and Los Cerritos YMCA branches.

REGISTRATION FEE
- Member & Non-Member – $138
PRACTICES
- Begins on Monday, March 30
- Practices will be on Mondays or Wednesdays
- Ages 4-5 will practice on GAME DAY 30 minutes of practice before the game
- Ages 6-8 practice times will start between 5:30 PM & 6:30 PM (60-minute practice)
- Ages 9-12 practice times will start at 6:30 PM & 7:30 PM (60-minute practice)
- All practices will be at the Los Cerritos YMCA
- Games will be held at McBride HS and Lakewood Family YMCA
Practice days and times are randomly picked. You may request a specific day and time, but it is not guaranteed.
GAMES
- All games will be on Saturdays
- Games will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 8 games total
