The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. YMCA youth sports programs fill kids' discretionary hours with positive activities and caring adult attention. Coaches, often volunteers, including many parents, emphasize teamwork and cooperation over winning at any cost, developing good values over developing the next superstar.

Your child will gain the confidence that comes from playing on a team as well as develop good sportsmanship.
