The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. YMCA youth sports programs fill kids' discretionary hours with positive activities and caring adult attention. Coaches, often volunteers, including many parents, emphasize teamwork and cooperation over winning at any cost, developing good values over developing the next superstar.
Your child will gain the confidence that comes from playing on a team as well as develop good sportsmanship.
Participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out!

Basketball - Ages 7-12
Children stay active and are part of a team with Youth Basketball. In a positive and structured environment, children develop basketball skills including passing, receiving, shooting, footwork and dribbling. Not only will children have an opportunity to improve their technique, but they'll also build social skills, gain confidence and develop leadership skills. Our dedicated staff are trained to set expectations, and help kids find their strengths and advance their skills.
Saturdays from 11:30-12:30pm
Mighty Mini Sports - Ages 3-6
These classes are designed to be age appropriate and teach youth the fundamentals of sports. Each class will work on skill building, teach teamwork and good sportsmanship and engage in scrimmage play. Youth will also be taught and practice our YMCA four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Parents are encouraged to observe the classes. Youth should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.
All Sports
In this program youth will learn a variety of sports including soccer, t-Ball, basketball and flag football.
Saturdays from 9:30-10:15am
Basketball
This program is geared for basketball enthusiast! Youth will learn passing, dribbling and shooting skills.
