Basketball lessons and clinics take place at the Wrigley Youth Center (NEW State of the Arts Facility!)

PEEWEE LESSONS
Children ages 3-5 can develop motor skills, stay active and have fun with friends in our Peewee Basketball lessons! Offered on a month-to-month basis, these engaging sessions introduce young players to the game in a supportive and playful environment.

YOUTH CLINICS
Youth clinics for ages 6 and older focus on teaching participants about sportsmanship, skill development and strength training. Registration is ongoing for monthly sessions.

Youth Basketball League
The YMCA of Greater Long Beach is excited to launch our first-ever Youth Basketball League, bringing together young athletes from across our branches for a season of fun, skill-building, and friendly competition. This league is designed to help players develop fundamentals, build confidence, and learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive environment.
Open to a variety of age divisions, the league welcomes all levels of players. Participants will enjoy organized games, consistent coaching, and the opportunity to grow alongside peers from Lakewood, Los Altos, Fairfield, and Los Cerritos YMCA branches.
