Group Fitness Class Descriptions



ZUMBA
A fusion of Latin/International music and dance themes, creating a dynamic, exciting and effective class. This fun Latin inspired dance program includes merengue, salsa, cha cha, cumbia, calypso and rock n'roll. Zumba is guaranteed to provide the participant with a safe and effective total body workout. This class is for members only.

ZUMBA GOLD
Zumba GOLD is an innovative, fun and exciting program. It was designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising, or those who may be limited physically. Zumba Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but it certainly is as fun. The same great Latin styles of music and dance are used. Created to emphasize the basics, this explosive program is so easy to follow that everyone can do it. Zumba GOLD creates a party atmosphere. It is fun, different, easy and effective. It's great for the mind, body and soul. Exercise attire is recommended.

FAMILY YOGA (All Levels)
A chance for the whole family to participate in an exercise activity. Children 8 Years and older, with the ability to maintain a level of focus, are welcome. Instructor approval required for 7 years and younger.

STEP AEROBICS
A high intensity class that burns calories without a great deal of impact and stress on the joints. Class consists of cardio and total body conditioning. Available in English and Spanish.

AQUA FITNESS
Exercise in the water while relieving stress on the joints. Shallow water exercise, no swimming required.

TURBO KICK
Turbo Kick incorporates and combines martial-arts style kicks/punches and other high impact aerobic movementes to create a very energetic class. This is not a contact class.
