Academic Enrichment Program Information:

Transportation: Transportation to and from school is available at some locations. Space is limited.

Program Hours: 6:30am - 6:30 p.m.

Payment Information: A Non-refundable $50 registration fee per child is required at sign-up.

First - Eighth Grade Program: Before School Care: $70 per week.

After School Care: $90 per week.

Before and After School Care: $105 per week.

Kindergarten Program:: Before School Care: $70 per week.

After School Care: $100 per week.

Before and After School Care: $110 per week.

Agency Referrals Accepted:
Childres Home Society (CHS), Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Harbor Regional, GAIN, and Cal-WORKS.Prior written authorization is required prior to child starting the YMCA Academic Enrichment Program.

Financial Assistance:
Within the available resources of the association the YMCA will provide services for any youth, senior or adult who desires to participate and understands the benefits of the YMCA, regardless of thier ability to pay the prescribed fee.

Those not able to pay the full fee may be awarded partial financial assistance based on their demonstrated ability to pay and the YMCA's ability to fund the subsidy.

YMCA Academic Enrichment

The Fairfield Family YMCA provides a Before and After School Academic Enrichment program for children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Parents who enroll their children in the YMCA Academic Enrichment Program enjoy the confidence of knowing their children can learn and have fun in a safe, caring environment on the school campus and at the YMCA.

Parents can work without worry, while their children participate in wholesome, values-based activities and receive homework assistance.

YMCA staff are trained and motivated to ensure your child has a fun, healthy and safe experience.

YMCA Academic Enrichment Goals:

We currently serve schools in the North Long Beach, Bixby Knolls and Signal Hill area.

Our Fairfield Family YMCA sites are licensed by the California Department of Social Services.
